You won’t believe how critical a robust vitamin D3 level is for immune health and hundreds of hormonal reactions in the body. Most people don’t get a couple of hours of sunlight in their board shorts or bikini daily, especially as we get older or live further north. My target blood level of vitamin D3 is 80-100 ng/mL on the 25[OH]D blood test. This is the anti-aging or biohacker level. Most of our doctors recommend additional vitamin D3. Personally, I take two of these softgels and one Vascular Flex Daily. But without a colon where many vitamins are absorbed, I need more than other people. Sunshine D3 is an inexpensive way to get vitamin D3 in an organic extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) base for a clean formula and great intestinal absorption.

Most functional medicine doctors will test vitamin D levels and recommend patients with a deficiency start by taking two of the tiny softgels daily for one to three months, then reduce the dose to one softgel per day as a maintenance dose.
